How to Add Comfort to Your Bar

A bar by itself is a nice addition to any home or even a restaurant. It's a great space where you can display your wines and goblets and enjoy sipping your favorite drinks in the company of loved ones.

These useful rails are tubing where you rest your hands and feet while seated or standing at the bar. They are attached to the bar itself and in fact, they can even improve the beauty of your home bar. With the rails, you are creating a more functional bar.

There are various materials available on the market today but the more your bar will shine if you use the brass tubing. This particular material is very attractive because of its gold like color. It looks and glows like gold indeed. When properly maintained, you can rest assure that your bar will always look good for a long time.

Before you think that it might cost you a lot to use the brass tubing, it actually is inexpensive to install one to your dream bar. You can save even more if you take the time to install it yourself by following instructions.

A brass tubing can be bought in 12-inch sections. So if you need only 10 feet, you should get this length and just cut it at home. Or another option is to have it customized according to your exact specifications to save you time.

Apart from the tubing, you will need other components such as the end caps, elbows and brackets. The end caps are used to cover both ends of the tube to make it attractive. Various designs are available.

If you're going to install your brass tubing foot rails that will include a corner, an elbow is necessary. This is the part which will connect your tubing at the corner.

The brackets, meanwhile, serve as the main support. They will hold the tubing and keep it secure. During the installation process, the brackets are attached first. One end of these brackets is attached to the bar while the other end is attached to the floor with the use of screws. Ideally, they are positioned at least four feet or not more than five feet apart to keep it sturdy.

Once the brackets are in place, the brass tubing can now be inserted. After that, the end caps can be inserted to complete the installation.
