The old Texas two-step finished up in Houston Talent is expected in Texas now days. Houston backed up a great Dallas contest with the best final round of the tour so far. So many tricks that it was tough for the judges. Dallis Thompson killed it but only got 4th in a tough contest. He landed Feeble fakie, full cab front board, bs overcrook, and kickflip front board down the rail. Ryan Thompson landed kick flip front board, fs flip on the quarter and front blunt fakie at crazy speed for 3rd place. 2nd went to Kolby Petrus with back side noseblunt on the ramp to rail and kick flip front board, kick flip back lip, and back tail fakie down the handrail. David Langston got 1st place with his insane tricks and smooth style. He landed fs 360 and a bs flip down the double set, nollie back tail, nollie back smith, kick flip crook down the handrail and a kick flip 5-0 on the bump to bar. Stevens Pass with the Leavenworth Snow Train on December 18th, 2010

(I know that the description is really detailed, but bare with me so you can understand how my chase went) Personal Note: This is one of my best Snow Train Chase that I have ever done before. With good locations and good weather, it's couldn't have been a better day for a train chase. Me and my dad woke up at 0700 to get a heads start on my trip of chasing the Alki Tours' Leavenworth Snow Train with the train provided by Amtrak. After I had a good breakfast at the Buzz Inn Restaurant at Monroe, we headed off to Index. As I set off at Index, we had a Railroad Traffic Jam at Gold Bar, with a WB Z Train, a EB Empty Coal Train and the Leavenworth Snow Train. As I was hearing the dispatch chatters, The Snow Train actually have to squish in the siding at Gold Bar behind the Coal Train, while the Z Train took the main line. Instead of seeing the Snow Train first, we ended up seeing a 556 axle Empty Coal Train shattering the quietness at Index with 4 ES44AC's on the point and no DPU power on the rear. About 10 minutes after the Coal Train went through, The 74-axles Snow Train rounded the bend at Index at approach medium signals speeds (meaning that trains can not exceed 40 MPH due to train/signal traffic ahead). The mammoth train is pulled by 2 GE Genesis P42DC (194 and 137), a fleet of Amfleet Coaches and Horizon Cafe Cars, The Ocean View Amtrak Dome Car, and 2 California Zephyr Dome Cars (Silver Lariat and the Silver Solarium Observation Dome Car). This build consisted of replacing our stock appearing blouch dominator 2.0 turbo (which ran a best pass of 11.4 @ 122mph) with an Extreme Turbo Systems Billet T3 PT67-65 Turbo Kit. We also removed the entire long block out of the car to be custom built to our specs with a full Cosworth Bottom End. We are now using Cosworth Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Rings, and Head Gasket. Gino, from Evolution Racing Engines in Amityville, Ny performed a complete Port and Polish along with an extreme valve job to match GSC's S2 274/274 Camshafts high duration and lift. Furthermore, an AMS 600HP Fuel System was customized by us in utilizing Twin External/In-Line Bosch 044 Fuel Pumps feeding a -8 Feed and Return line to an AMS Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit and AMS Fuel Rail feeding Fuel Injector Clinics 2150 cc Injectors. A local diesel train service passes through the level crossing gates at Portmadoc station in North Wales, after arriving from Pwllheli. The station ticket office has been converted to a pub, and the bar staff are the only staff at the station. The next train is near Pen Y Chain & the River Afon; adjacent to the old Butlins Pwllheli holiday camp. The holiday camp is also called Hafn-Y-Mor. The line runs parallel to the sandy Cambrian Coast.

In this edition of The Schumin Web Video Journal, I am riding back home on board Breda 4024. This was taken the same day as the Breda 3244 video, just in the other direction. I discuss my day, I discuss the Metro, hitting the "Nellie's" bar on U Street and having a Rum and Coke, car problems, Metrobus's schedules and NextBus, and some of my own reactions to my first video done earlier in the day. Biggest thing: my big neck. The content was good in the morning, but there was a lot of neck in there. We're working on that. Otherwise, I'm facing sideways on the seat this time, and so the view behind me is straight out the window. We're traveling from roughly Takoma station to the end of the line at Glenmont. Meanwhile, I wonder if the Rum and Coke that I had at the bar prior to heading home made me more relaxed for this. I certainly felt less self-conscious about doing this one compared to the first one.
