Relaxation- Surfing and beach sports are very popular in the region during summer months because of the immense size of the coastline, while still giving sun gods and goddesses the chance to relax and sunbath in peace and solitude. Ferry tours are a great tourist attraction from Barmouth to Penrhyn Point. Hiking, bird watching and cycling on the endless green mountain trails are popular tourist activities.

Sport- The towns' own football team Barmouth & Dyffryn United regularly takes part in the Welsh Alliance League.
